Origins & Foundation

Rig Veda is one of the oldest surviving books of knowledge in the world that gave us Yoga and Ayurveda among other eastern sciences. The RigVedic system used by Yuti is called Jyotish-shastra.

Evolution Through Time

It originated as a system to measure time by studying light and celestial bodies. Unlike a single invention, Jyotish-shastra has been shaped by numerous scholars, sages, and civilizations over 4000 years. From its early references in the Vedas to the detailed treatises of Parashara and Varahamihira, it has developed into a sophisticated system of mathematical probabilities.

Modern Application

In essence, it is a study of cosmos and consciousness. However, unlike modern astronomy, which gives us a macro view of life and is best consumed as data, Jyotish-shastra is best experienced at an individual level like art. Its purpose is not to prove pre-determined hypotheses but for each of us to deduce its value for ourselves through our own experience of it.
